Dr. Aimee Poirier

Dr. Poirier is a native of Hoover, Alabama. She completed her undergraduate degree at Auburn University in 1992. Dr. Poirier attended UAB School of Optometry, where she was on the Dean’s List, as well as a member of SOSH, Student Optometric Students to Humanity.

She completed her training with the Indian Public Health Service in Shiprock, New Mexico. During this time, she gained extensive experience in the treatment and management of ocular disease. Dr. Poirier is a member of the Alabama Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association

​

Dr Poirier practiced primary eye care in Helena for five years prior to joining Brock’s Gap Eyecare. She is committed to providing compassionate care to her patients, and is very excited to be returning to practice in her hometown. Her husband, Wallace, and their family, have enjoyed living in Hoover for many years.

Dr. Poirier will begin seeing patients at our Brocks Gap location on September 3rd. Please help us in welcoming Dr. Poirier to BGEC!
